Michael Jackson, the world's most successful singer and musician collapsed in his Los Angles home last Thursday, the 25th of June 2009. He was transferred to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center while in full cardiac arrest. Unfortunately the medical team's efforts to revive him were not successful and he was pronounced at 2:26 pm. Michael Jackson's death shocked his fans all over the world and sent shock waves throughout the music world, triggering a massive global outpouring of grief. His funeral is set to be held later this month, he was 50 years old.

He sold more that 750 million music records worldwide with his album Thriller, still the number one seller of all time. He was also a talented songwriter and dancer. The Moonwalk
was his famous signature dance move. Michael Jackson was also a record producer, choreographer and actor. In addition, he was a philanthropist and had received an award from White House for his support for several charities. At least 39 charities were supported by him by year 2000 which helped him to make it into the the Guinness Book of World Records that same year.
Although Jackson lived a fascinating life, he left behind a hefty debt after his death. The total amount of his debt exceeds currently $500 million.
