Note: The symbols will look slightly different when pasted into MSN Messenger or Windows Live Messenger.

Using the Characters and Symbols

You can use these symbols to decorate either your name or personal message.

MSN names created using special characters and symbols are very eye-catching and they'll make your screen name stand out of the crowd in your friend's contact list. You just have to be creative with the special characters and design your names in a way which suits your personality the most.

You can use msn symbols to describe your mood of the day too! For example, if you're riding high on the waves of love, you can add a heart symbol () to appear in your MSN nickname. To strengthen the effect of the symbol you can use two or three of the same (or different) MSN symbol like ❤ ♡ ❤ or you can even end your msn nick name with it. An example of such display name could look like this ❤❤ Jennifer ❤❤.

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to use these MSN characters and symbols in colors or different font sizes, The only choice of color is black and we have to put up with it for the time being. Sick of all the technological limitations? Us too!

We've also created some sample names using symbols and displayed them here. If you like a certain design found in our samples, you can copy and paste the whole MSN name and then only change the text of it with your own preferred name and keep the pattern untouched. This can save you time and make your life a bit easier too.
